VAYO MITRA Programme

VAYO MITRA is another program under Ayush Public health component of NAM which will run parallel to NPPMOAMD. The target population (People above 60 years of age) will be screened and evaluated for presence of disease/risk factors for diseases commonly seen in geriatric age group.

The people screened will be advised about DINCHARYA, PATHYA APATHYA and YOGA/ASANA as per the health status and risk for MSDs/other chronic diseases. Those requiring medicines/Panchkarma will be provided the treatment as per the need. Those requiring specialized care /treatment will be referred to appropriate health facility. This program is running in two blocks i.eBaijnath and Panchrukhi.
