Telemedicine Programme
The Telemedicine programme has been approved by the Ministry of AYUSH, Govt. of India under National AYUSH Mission (NAM).
Department has implemented the programe by identifing and designated 04 HUBs for Ayushteleconsultation services under telemedicines through the e- Sanjeevani portal. Simultaneously, e-Sanjeevani OPD has also been started in Ayurvedic College, Paprola, District Kangra has also been identified to start e-Sanjeevani OPD (GoI website- https://esanjeevani.mohfw.gov.in/#/patient/signin). The 04 HUBs are as under:-
- District Ayurvedic Hospital, Hamirpur, H.P.
- District Ayurvedic Hospital, Chamba, H.P.
- District Ayurvedic Hospital, Mandi, H.P.
- District Ayurvedic Hospital, Una, H.P.
All the HUBs have been mapped with the HUB-cum-SPOKE (608 No.) designated by the National Health Mission (NHM). For the successful implementation of this program the 36 specialist clinical doctors such as Kaya Chikitsa (Medicine), ShalyaTantra, Swasthvrit&Yog (Health, Hygiene & Yoga and StrirogVisheshagya (Gynecologist) have been deployed in these HUBs &e-Sanjeevani OPD.
Initially the Department of Health & Family Welfare was responsible for the management of all Institutions of Ayurveda in the state, besides allopathic. Ancient Science Ayurveda is widely acceptable in the State and the way of treatment is affordable to the masses in the State.
